On the anniversary of the historic uprising in Qom, Grand Ayatollah Imam Khamenei addressed the Islamic Republic to address the importance of this historical day. His eminence also alerted the nation of the need to protect the true significance of this historical day to protect the memory of the 19th of Dey as one of the most important highlights of the Iranian nation’s existence today.
Not only will safeguarding the true significance of this day boost the morale of future generations, but they are a real source of pride and national dignity. Keeping this momentous historic event fresh in the minds of young Iranians is crucial to protecting the strength and powerful reality of this event. Besides, there are treacherous enemies who will usurp the occasion to distort and defile the true meaning and significance for evil purposes.
In today’s world of internet communication, corrupt and treacherous powers can and will attempt to misguide the millions in every country by polluting the events with their misguided content. In their quest for domination and with mass communication technologies at their disposal, the central enemy, the US intelligence, the CIA, are experts at controlling the information the masses receive to influence their minds in matters of governance and especially Iran. The 19th of Dey was indeed the very first Ibrahimi blow to the idolatrous entity called America by the people of Qom. To this day, they still seek revenge even in the face of great disruption, injustice, chaos and uprisings in the U.S. American values are now being tested to their limits.
As displayed to the world, recent events in the U.S. have revealed the weakness of American values based on rampant racism and injustice. Ridiculed by the entire world as a failed democracy and capitalist country, America faces the true reflection of its true nature. Revealed is the face of a monstrous racist regime built on the backs of slaves and people of color, hundreds of which are killed daily on the streets without cause or reason. But this is not the only face of the beast that has surfaced. The other is the dark side of its corrupt, capitalist system designed to keep the masses impoverished and in debt to benefit the corporate establishment that runs the country.
COVID has exposed its ugly face of greed, power and corruption. Its utter failure to maintain a civil society worthy of its claims. American society as the Soviet Union did, now faces complete destruction. The recent insurgent uprising at the United States Capital is testimony to its demise. This comes at the very hands of the millions they empowered under America’s racist apparatus that systematically denies people of color their rights under its democracy and its constitution. Those same millions of white racist American citizens feel empowered to destroy their own government from within as was witnessed on the attack of the U.S. Capital on January 6. Indeed, The U.S. is in a miserable state!
They created an America that favored white people and left all others on the sidelines by the mechanisms of systemic racism and injustice. They should not be surprised that their white-privileged citizens will now demand an all-white America and a fascist government that supports their racist ideology. Trump was the perfect president for them as he represented what America truly is, a nation of illiterate, despot, power-hungry uncivilized people demanding their full rights to incitement and power over the government. Recent events have displayed to the world the internal corruption and decadence rampant in American society. Decadence, immorality, hate and crime are at the root of all of America’s evils today.
In order to distract from the critical developments, the U.S. and its outgoing Trump administration feel pressured to place the attention outside the nation. As always, Iran seems to be a pivotal point of interest to them. Many feared that during his last days in office, Trump would start a full war with Iran by making false claims of interference in its military presence in the Middle East. America’s interests are in creating instability and chaos in the region until it achieves total dominion in the region. Their only obstacle is the great nation of Iran. As a stronghold of peace and stability in the region, Iran stands against all its machinations and plots. The U.S. along with Israel created ISIS, DAESH which greatly interfered in their efforts to dominate Iraq, Syria and Lebanon. Iran’s efforts were the result of great military leadership under martyr Qassim Soleimani, Iran’s general assassinated by Trump’s orders.
Iran remains the only stronghold in the region as a sovereign powerful nation in resistance to Western plots for power and dominion. Many have been the evil plots of the arrogant powers to overthrow the resistance. At the time of the Qom uprising, Iran had not yet achieved the military power and political strength it has today. The fight against oppression and U.S. control that started on the 19th of Dey continue today. Only now, the balance of powers has changed, and Iran holds a demanding presence in the region. It is no longer possible for the adversaries to ignore its great achievements in science, technology and nuclear developments. So unsettling is Iran’s progress that Iran’s head nuclear scientist, Dr. Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, was assassinated on November 27, 2020. Mohammad Javad Zarif, Iran's foreign minister, suggested that the terrorist occupying Israeli regime was behind martyr Fakhrizadeh's assassination.
Today, Iran’s goal of establishing a new Islamic civilization is well under way. Its completion is within view to the whole world. It has resisted enemy efforts to destroy, defile and corrupt the new generations as it did under the Pahlavi regime. Its presence in Iran was then a great influential power in the country. After the uprising, America lost its power and position in the land. It no longer held a position of power over its rulers. It resulted in a revolution that will forever mark the Islamic resistance as a power to be acknowledged.
America’s presence in Iran under Pahlavi’s rule, resulted in its people accepting American culture and western standards. Life did not resemble the great Islamic nation it was and still is today. Since the Islamic revolution, Iran and its people have suffered the cruelty of inhumane sanctions that are illegal under international law. These sanctions are designed to pressure Iran’s government into submission and to subvert the thinking of Iran’s younger generations into believing that accepting U.S conditions will benefit them financially as it did during the Pahlavi regime. They must understand that in America, money equals corruption. Only those willing to submit to its machinations of war and ruthless corporate rule are given riches. The rest of America’s citizens suffer under a capitalist system based on a structure that limits their ability to succeed. That is the reality for the majority who live from paycheck to paycheck and are forever in debt to the banks and major corporations who hold control the monetary systems of the world. The Coronavirus Pandemic has made this noticeably clear. The institutions that once held American households together and out of poverty are no longer in place. The economy has collapsed, people are out of work, its citizens are starving as people in third world countries do. This is not a condition to be desired. Iran’s younger generations must accept that American politics and Western ideals do not provide the solutions that will bring everlasting peace and abundance.
Another truth that the Coronavirus Pandemic makes evident is that Iran can produce its own vaccines against COVID-19. Iran is a nation of incredible strength, scientific achievements and political successes. Iran has all the means necessary to hold its great nation together without fear of its enemies. Its enemy, the U.S. fears its potential power greatly. The U.S. sanctions and its withdrawal from the JCPOA commitments are simply tactics to try to achieve its means of crippling Iran’s potential. The Supreme Leader stated the truth about its decision made by the Islamic Consultative Assembly and the Iranian government about withdrawing from part of the JCPOA commitments. Imam Khamenei said that it is better for Iran not to reenter into an agreement the U.S. has withdrawn from. He said it is the only logical move as Iran was the only partner adhering to its commitments all along. The U.S. has not complied to its obligations under the agreement. Returning to the JCPOA might even be to Iran’s disadvantage. The U.S. must first prove it can commit to fulfilling all the agreements and lift all the illegal sanctions against Iran first. Then maybe Iran will consider reentering it.
In the meantime, Iran must continue to proceed and plan to organize its economy independently of the U.S. sanctions. Today, the U.S. and their allies in the region are forced to acknowledge that Iran also has a tremendous defensive power able to intercede enemy attacks against it. The country is not defenseless and is progressing quickly in its 20 percent enrichment process since the U.S. withdrew from the JCPOA. The tables have turned and are now in favor of Iran. The US’s plan backfired, and Iran is free to decide whether to return to it or not. This is a position the US is not used to dealing with. The issue now is whether the U.S. decides to return to the agreement and whether it will meet Iran’s demands. The first is, the US must lift all sanctions and most importantly, there is the matter of the US making compensation for all of Iran’s losses during the illegal sanctions.
I quote the Supreme Leader as he concluded, “My last word to our dear nation, to the dear people of Qom and to its esteemed seminary is that the Iranian nation managed to conduct a great Revolution in the past in the shade of unity, firm determination, piety, timely presence and diligence. It managed to carry out that great feat which changed the course of history of the world and of humanity. Today, the same nation is present with the same capabilities, with more experiences and with resources several times larger than those days and therefore, it can overcome all obstacles. Our nation can achieve success in economic areas, area of production, in the area of the value of national currency, in the area of cultural matter and in political, military and other such areas. I hope that God will increase His blessings and His grace on this nation on a daily basis, God willing.”
Let Westerners and their followers in the Middle East and some Iranians shun the belief that religion is a source of terror and terrorism. Let Iranians shun the hypocrites that attack the glorious splendor of Islamic civilization and Shiism. Let Iranians follow the paths of the many who have struggled but never surrendered to the enemies of God and the Shi’ite Imams who have sacrificed and kept before the masses the thought of God and His servants. Let all remember the promise of the Peacemaker and Promised Savior who will bring an end to all injustice and perfect humanity to fulfill their dreams.
We must all remember that from the Islamic point of view, all men are equal, and all are human regardless of their race, color, creed or doctrine. Islam values all human beings regardless of their religion. It is a God-given force that seeks freedom, justice and equality for all humanity. In comparison, the lack of true religious thought has resulted in misinformation to the new generations in the non-Islamic world that is filled with disorientation, conflict, confusion and disorder. In today’s modern world of mass communication, all the valuable achievements and history of the Shi’ite scholars are readily available and summarized to all who seek true wisdom and knowledge.
It is for the benefit of both Muslim and non-Muslim men, women and especially the young generation to become familiar with the eloquent truths of Shi’ite scholars and become acquainted with the many deceptions and delusions of the enemies of Islam today. As with the prophets of God, people today should aspire to be true subjects of the merciful and compassionate true God as only then will their inevitable death be an honorable one. This is not so difficult, as the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, “Allah appointed me with an easy and forbearing religion.”
All the elements of freedom, equality, justice human rights and even democracy flow freely in the spirit of Islam. Islam is easy to perform. There is no complicated law prescribed for its people. Islam advocated peace, love, never aggression and injustice. The scholars have the responsibility of giving true guidance in accordance with the religious truth so that all people can find it easily acceptable and pleasing. The goal as the God’s messengers spoke was to establish justice, therefore, God’s servants themselves become the upholders of His justice.
In the ideal Islamic society, the rights of all are well represented where people are free to reach those rights of equality, freedom and justice. Ideally, this will result in a great society where Islamic and human values are preserved righteously and the collective wisdom rules over that of the individual. Islam provides the perfect foundation for a civil society based on logic, reason and value of all that is sacred and peaceful coexistence.
Let all peoples resist the convoluted delusions of the Western world riddled with violence, injustice, inequality and disdain for God and truth. Based on Shi’a teachings the day will come when all the oppressors will either come to accept Islam or be banished from the world. According to the Quran, the time will come when only justice, peace, truth and love will prevail. To fight against the dream of Iran’s Islamic Nation is to fight against our own interests. May those in power take note and take sides wisely before it is too late. Unlike in the U.S. where democracy excludes many of its people, in Islam, democracy observes all the people’s rights. There is no special group or minority left out of its decree. We must make every effort to show the world that Islam and Shiism are the only source of true democracy and is the defender of human rights, freedom and justice. When the laws of right Islamic culture are in full force and operation, humanity will be finally free and elevated to its true Godly essence. The right religious jurisprudence is in the Shi’ite school. Its interpretation of the ‘Four Proofs”, the Quran, the traditions, its wisdom and consensus of Shi’ite scholars and men of faith is as varied as it is free. Surely, the world sees that the Shi’ite jurisprudence has proven itself as a forward moving dynamic in the Islamic world as it shines like a sun in the sky of Islamic law.
